Janelt Fred est né à Lyon en 1971, son premier contact avec un appareil photo se fait à l'age de 2 ans quand il fait tomber celui de son père.
Après de brillantes études d'architecture il décide de se lancer dans des études de philosophie et en 1990 il reçoit son diplome à l'université d'Oxford.
A l'apogée d'une brillante carrière il stoppe tout pour participer à la mission spatiale appolo 2.0, et c'est là , en voyant la terre, qu'il décide de la parcourir...
Tout cela aurait pu être vrai... et encore pas dit, par contre il est vrai que c'est ma passion des voyages qui m'a fait acheter mon premier appareil photo. Depuis j'en ai changé, et comme mon sac à dos, il ne me quitte pas.
Fred Janelt was born in Lyon in 1971,
his first experience with a camera was
at just two years old when he accidentally
knocked his father's over.
After his outstanding studies in Architecture he decided to follow his passion for Philosophy and in 1990 graduated with first class honours from Oxford University.
At the height of his brilliant career he took time out to participate in the Appolo 2.0 space mission, and it was then, when looking back to earth that he decide to explore it.
All of which could have been true...
It was however my passion for travelling and discovering which led me to buy my first camera has since been replaced, and, just like my backpack, it never leave me side.
